Exodus 29:38-41
These verses prescribe the Old Testament sacrifice. We, as Resurrection people, don’t need to follow this prescription because the ultimate sacrifice was made on the cross.

Here Jesus gives testimony to who He knows He Is. Jesus lets us know that we who are saved by His grace have the right to the Kingdom of Heaven and will enter the gates. The reading ends with our response to the invitation…all we have to do is come.

Daniel 10:16-18
When I feel unsure of myself or my God-given talents, I turn to Him for reassurance. He gives me confidence in what I can do and shows me what needs to be done.
2 Kings 3:15-20
When the Lord speaks through His prophet, Elisha, whatever He says will come to pass. Here the people of God overtake the land of Moab. Even though the land is dry, it becomes flooded. God will flood our dry places with His love and mercy, if we just listen for His voice.
